Click 3X Rocks Superbowl XLVII With 3ds Max

New York based Click 3X produced and designed all of the in-show game graphics for this year’s Superbowl in New Orleans. Their production pipeline which traditionally has been Maya and Cinema4D based, was augmented with 3ds Max for integration with the client’s (CBS) pipeline.

Shots designed initially in either Maya or C4D were migrated to 3ds Max to be used as templates. All final graphics for the show package (excluding the show opening) from lower thirds, sponsor tags, transitions to network buttons and bumpers were modeled and animated with Autodesk 3ds Max 2013 and shaded, lit and rendered using V-ray from Chaos Group.
